Fitting and removing the batteries

When replacing the batteries, both batteries must always be replaced

Operating sequence to remove the batteries

  1. Park the cart – main key switch to OFF position.
  2. Remove any attachments or superstructure.
  3. Release the screw connections on the battery compartment lid (6) and lift off the lid.
  4. Disconnect the negative poles. Insulate the poles and terminals against possible
  5. contact.
  6. Disconnect the positive poles. Insulate the poles and terminals against possible
  7. Carefully remove the batteries.

Spent batteries must be disposed of in a recycling / disposal facility that avoids harm to the environment. They must not be disposed of in domestic waste.

 

Operating sequence to insert the batteries

  1. Park the cart – main key switch to OFF position.
  2. Carefully insert the batteries.
  3. Connect the positive poles to terminals.
  4. Connect the negative poles to terminals.
  5. Secure the battery compartment lid in place and tighten fixing screws.
  6. Start the cart in accordance with the start–up sequence.
